Library Collections
The Walpole Public Library maintains an up-to-date collection of reference and circulating materials covering most disciplines. As a member of the Old Colony Library Network (OCLN), residents also have access to the circulating collections of other OCLN libraries.  The Commonwealth Catalog, gives residents further access to most public and state-funded academic libraries across the state.

The library collects materials in a number of different formats, including downloadable and streaming options.  The library purchases new titles throughout the year to meets the needs of the residents of Walpole.  The library also maintains a number of special collections of interest to residents, these include Town Annual Reports, Walpole Street Lists, and High School Yearbooks.  The library also provides residents with access to discounted museum passes.

Reference Services

Located on the second floor of the Library, the Reference Desk is where to go if you have questions. The Reference Staff will be happy to help you with your quick question, research project, or whatever you may need to find out.  The library maintains a collection of local history materials in the Walpole Room.  The Walpole Room also houses a microfilm and searchable pdf collection of the Walpole Times and the Walpole Enterprise.  A collection of online databases The library also subscribes to many online databases, most of which can be accessed from home.
