Local author Marcie Schwartz has been enchanting young children and educating their parents for 40 years. She carries her skill and enthusiastic style into poetry circles she designs, to meet the needs of numerous populations, including children, diversely abled adults, parents, and seniors. Marcie has conducted poetry workshops here and at the Dover Public Library. Marcie’s picture book, When Someone Deeply Listens to You, (illustrated by Massachusetts native Eric Funk) is the culmination of Marcie’s certification in poetic medicine. The book includes deep listening activities that you and your family can do at home! Join Marcie in the Community Room for a story time reading and an activity. This is a family event!
