There are over 738 million LinkedIn users worldwide; two people join every second of every day. Workshop participants will review best practices as they relate to online profile creation and managing one’s account. Also for discussion will be the many additional usages of LinkedIn, including the importance of joining groups and getting others to offer testimonials.

The 90-minute workshop will start at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room.  No registration is required.  This is the first of a series of Job Seeker Workshops led by Gary Gekow.

Gary Gekow has over 30 years of employment consulting and recruiting experience in the Boston marketplace. He works with individuals across New England assisting them with job search strategies and career coaching. This includes résumé writing, LinkedIn profile creation, cover/thank-you letter writing, interviewing skills, transitioning into new careers, salary and benefits negotiation, and on-line job search.
