Join us as Kerri Fitzgerald presents her original oil paintings of animals at the Franklin Park Zoo and the paintings done by the various wild animals. The paintings done by the animals include finger paintings done by our local Silverback gorillas Little Joe and Okie. Also a collection of pygmy hippo footprints by Cleo the hippo and a variety of other paintings and footprints done by many other animals from zoos all over the country.
Painting is an enrichment activity for the animals and a way for them to express themselves. Every animal had a different technique and style! They all seemed to love painting days. Especially Okie the gorilla!
