The Walpole Public Library has a total of 11 public Internet workstations throughout the building. Each workstation has Microsoft Office Standard 2019 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Publisher) and Apache Open Office installed. A library card is needed to gain access to the workstations. One day guest passes are available to those without a library card. Workstations are on a first come, first serve basis.
The 2 workstations in the Young Adult Room are reserved for teens. The 8 workstations near the Reference Desk are open to all patrons. The library also has 1 Express (15 minute) workstation next to the Print Release station for quick printing and e-mail retrieval.
All public Internet workstations send print jobs to a centralized printer located on the second floor to the right of the stairwell. The charge for printing is 15 cents a page for black and white and 30 cents a page for color copies.
The Walpole Public Library has wireless access points throughout the building. The library Wi-Fi network is called Library. Library is an open network and requires no password to connect.
