Exhibits
The Walpole Public Library has two designated areas for the display of artwork or photographs: The Art Gallery located in the front foyer and the Community Room. The Community Room is the larger of the two spaces, but exhibitors may use both spaces during the same month if needed. Exhibits lasts one month. Please review our Art Exhibit Policy before inquiring about exhibit space.
To reserve: Individuals or groups wishing to display artwork or photographs are encouraged to contact the Library Director at sgenovese@ocln.org. Artwork is displayed for one month at a time.
Display cases
The library has two locked free standing cases for display of materials. The first located under the stairwell, is best suited for objects that need to be displayed upright. Case dimensions are 60″ H x 42″ W x 16″ D and includes three adjustable shelves.
The second case, located near the New Fiction display, is best suited for objects that lie flat. Case dimensions are 7″ H x 60″ W x 36″ D.
To reserve: Individuals or groups wishing to display items are encouraged to contact the main Circulation Desk at 508-660-7340. Each case can be reserved for one month at a time.
